My argument is about global warming and the way green house gases effect our planet. I found a regulation that was put in place in 2006. It’s called the global warming solutions act. This helps regulate the production of greenhouse gases and how much people should be producing. This helps my argument because our state is trying to regulate the amount of greenhouse gases that go into the air and it proves that too much of it can really hurt our planet. On the website I went to it explains how carbon dioxide and methane are two of the main gases when it comes to heat. But there are many other gases considered to be greenhouse gases. Heat is the issue with climate change because it’s starting to melt the antarctic ice burgs and that is starting to cause the ocean level to rise. This regulation will help put a stop to the release of carbon dioxide and methane because these are both considered greenhouse gases. This regulation can help reduce pollution and the rising temperates. This is considered the scoping plan which the state updates every five year. They have plans to help put this into effect. It states how every five years they have a certain goal to attain for emission reduction and ways they can achieve long term effects for climate change and reduction of greenhouse gases. This can be used in my essay to support my claim and why we need to stop the production of greenhouse gases. There are regulations all over the world to put a stop to this.
