My three favorite blogs during this class were about the Australian fires one because it brought us knowledge and information on what was going on. I don’t think at the time, many people knew what Australia was going through and how terrifying it was. But doing that blog made us look deeper into it. Then I really liked the one I chose to do on Animal Welfare. This one you gave us a bunch of options for it which was nice because people got an option for what they were most passionate for. This was blog number five. And then I really liked the one on non-profit organizations because it made us look deeper into who’s trying to help the earth or whatever bad is happening on the planet. There are so many things you can do to help and that blog really made me realize that. Another blog idea you could do is maybe pros and cons of college. You will be able to see everyones different perspectives on the college life or what struggles they are going through as a first year college student. And I would replace it with the “what is your major” blog. Another writing assignment I would’ve liked to do would probably be about the Antarctic and how the polar bears are dying off or something involving endangered species like the blog we had to do. I feel like people need to be more informed on how many animals could be going extinct and it would’ve been super easy for me because I love animals. Another short essay I would’ve liked to read would probably be about deforestation. I did a blog about this and it has become a huge problem so I feel like other students should know how bad it really is for our planet. One thing that stood out to me about this class was the blogs that we made and the weekly blogs we had to do. I learned so much more than I ever have from a regular English class. I really enjoyed looking more into topics that I cared about and actually had a passion for. I also think you should do a creative writing assignment for next year. This was one of the best english classes I’ve been in and I don’t think you should change anything about it. Thank you for a great half of the semester due to Covid-19.
