I decided to look into the non-profit organization called cool earth. This organization raises money to help with climate change and deforestation. They have teamed up with many other corporations located in Peru, Mount Namuli which is in Mozambique and many other. They have many companies that support them and help them with their business, including the planet mark, explore worldwide, ovo energy and many many more. This organization seems very credible to me since it has a list of supporters, partnerships and they include stories on their website. The stories that are shown in that category have many options. You can learn more on climate change or reforestation. You can learn about the communities being affected from their forests being taken down. It gives you information on why the rainforest is so important and the animals that live within the forests. The website also gives people options on how they want to get involved with them. You can donate money or fundraise for them. You can join their community or become a business partner. They have so many options on how you can help them as a corporation. For this organization, donations are tax-deductible. This can reduce taxable income. I believe this organization has reasonable goals as it is trying to reduce climate change and the deforestation. Their main focus is to invest in certain things that can help them obtain the best outcome for the people and rainforest. They try to protect the people because they are being affected by the rainforests being taken down and want to help put a stop to it as many do not care. I really like this organization because deforestation affects not just the people that live around there but all the animals that consider the rainforest home. They need the rainforest to survive but are getting destroyed along with it.
